The artwork Arthropocene will be created as a result of the destruction of the Post-Apocalypsis installation awarded the Gold Medal for Sound Sesign at Prague Quadriennial of Performance Design and Space 2015. In June 2016, the main components of the installation were subjected to the process of recycling, cutting and crushing in the scrap shears. The only preserved element of the original installation is the interactive soundscape. The audible, dynamic audiosphere is created from sonified weather data, taken in real time from locations relevant for global energy and environmental policy (including Chernobyl, Fukushima). Viewers choose the location to download the weather data.
Arthropocene refers to the contemporary problem of geological and climatic changes. In this project art also becomes an element of Antropocene’s global policy.

Praca Arthropocene powstanie wskutek zniszczenia instalacji Post-Apocalypsis nagrodzonej złotym medalem za Sound Design na Prague Quadriennial of Performance Design and Space 2015. W czerwcu 2016 roku główne elementy instalacji zostały poddane procesowi recyklingowania, cięcia i zgniatania w prasonożycach, na złomowisku. Jedynym zachowanym elementem oryginalnej instalacji jest interaktywny soundscape. Słyszalna, dynamiczna audiosfera tworzona jest z sonifikowanych danych pogodowych w czasie rzeczywistym pobieranych z miejsc istotnych dla światowej polityki energetycznej i ekologicznej (m.in. Czarnobyl, Fukushima). Wyboru lokalizacji pobierania danych pogodowych dokonują samodzielnie widzowie.
Arthropocene nawiązuje do współczesnego problemu przemian geologiczno- klimatycznych. I w tym projekcie sztuka staje się elementem globalnej polityki Antropocenu.
