POST-APOCALYPSIS (Polish national exhibition)
Gold Medal for Sound Design of the 13th Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space

The Post-Apocalypsis installation projects a precise contemporary vision of the networked and global world. Viewers enter directly into a condensed space of real-time weather-data streams. The constantly updated data is processed artistically through sonification – in this way, the installation is filled with a changing audiosphere, active towards human presences.

The Post-Apocalypsis won the Gold Medal at Prague Quadrennial 2015 for Sound Design, which the jury appreciated for its clever use of sound – the sensitive and interactive sound design reflects contemporary ideas relating to the relationship between man, nature and technology as part of a hybrid communications system (pq.cz/en/news/2015/6/23/prague-quadrennial-2015-awards).

S E N S O R I U M
sound installation for cities

It is a result of two artistic residencies:                                                                                                               at CCRMA Stanford University and The Castle Culture Centre, Poznań

„…The installation is interdisciplinary. The spirit of holistic, integral perception of human emotions, intellect and physiology pervades the work. It combines, in equivalent proportions, the artistic, scientific, technological and psychological aspects…”

In Sensorium you control music with your mind. Installation in the clock tower of CK Zamek in Poznań, which employs biofeedback and neurofeedback technologies, is a one-person musical (but also design) space upon which biophysical reactions of the visitor exert direct influence.

The structure of time in a dream expands and contracts according to its own rules, entirely disassociated from the time measured by clocks. fortunately, the structure of time in music is similar.
